Our story
It started with two cabinetmakers and a rented barn
Hearthwood started in 2008 in a rented barn on the edge of Millbrook, with two cabinetmakers, a secondhand table saw and a simple belief: a kitchen should be built to last a lifetime, not a decade.
Today we're a team of 24, working from our own workshop on Foundry Lane. We've grown, but the way we work hasn't changed. Every kitchen is still designed with you in your home, built to measure from real timber and installed by the people who made it.
We don't sell flat-pack, we don't subcontract our fitting and we never hand you off between departments. You'll know your designer by name, and you're always welcome to visit the workshop to watch your kitchen take shape.
